For sale is an excellent condition 40mm stainless steel Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. The 16520 is a U serial, was originally purchased from an US ORJ in 1998, and is accompanied by its box and warranty papers. An interesting fact about the Daytona’s province, is that it was originally shipped to the AD from Rolex on February 20th, 1998. The 16520 features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a polished steel “MKIII” tachymeter bezel engraved with black enamel units. The bezel is in immaculate untouched condition, as the enamel is crisp and dark black in color, would rate it 90%. The Daytona is mounted on a brushed and polished steel 78390 Oyster bracelet with 503 B end links and is secured by a safety lock deployment clasp. The bracelet is original to the watch, as it is stamped with a Z clasp code, which dates the bracelet to late 1997. The bracelet contains 11 full size links, will comfortably fit a 7.25 inch wrist, and contains very little stretch, would rate it 90% plus. The Daytona features a white dial with applied polished white gold stylized hour markers which are Tritium coated, luminous white gold hands, and sub dial registers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. The tritium lume still contains a minuscule amount of glow, and is on the verge of acquiring a cream patina. The movement used in the 16520 is the Zenith based Rolex calibre 4030. The Daytona is unpolished and is in excellent condition overall with normal signs of careful wear. It is worth mentioning that the lugs are extremely sharp / plentiful, and have not been worn down.
