I purchased this piece earlier this year from a forum member and hate to let it go, but I've got to make room in the watch box for several pieces I"ve got on order. Bucherer is a Swiss jewelry and watch retailer founded in 1888 and now the largest jewelry and watch retailer in Europe. They historically released private label watches with their name that were produced by other Swiss manufacturers somewhat analogous to Tiffany and Co. in the states.
From what I can tell, this watch was produced in the 1960's and certainly is rare. In fact, I haven't seen another like it. It's an elegant piece with a curved profile that hugs the wrist and a very thin presence that will fit under any cuff. The watch is near mint and features a warm silver dial with amazing applied scalloped silver markers and an elegant long handset. The 34mm (excluding crown) case is stainless steel and sharp, featuring drilled lugs. The crystal is a scratch-free domed acrylic type. The watch features a 17 jewel anti-magnetic Swiss movement with Incabloc shock protection and is keeping excellent time.
Lug to lug: 44mm, Lug width 18mm; The strap is black lizard.
I'm asking $359 OBO via PayPal, shipped CONUS only please.
I've completed a number of transactions on WUS with 100% positive feedback.
