It's with a sad heart I put these up for sale. I had a period of time where I was quiet obsessed with vintage Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. I ended up with four homages (a couple Seiko mods beyond these two.) But now my tastes have changed and I am trying to collect more original vintage divers rather than homages. I might keep the one that doesn't sell first, but then again I might sell it.
I have done tons of transactions here on the forum and have 100% positive feedback on ebay. It's always my goal to describe everything about the watches, ship the next day and communicate along the way.
On to the watches:
The Precista PRS50 -- SOLD!!
I bought this last summer and loved it. It's in great condition and has all the elements I love:
- Super nice Fricker case with a bright shiny finish
- Drilled 22mm lugs for easy strap changes
- 42mm in width
- Screw down caseback and crown for 200m water resistance
- Sapphire crystal
- Domed lumed acrylic bezel (so awesome.)
- ETA 2824-2 movement (harder to get these days)
- Comes with the retro looking rubber strap
- C3 Superluminova lume
The condition of the watch is great. Case has one flaw, a tiny hairline scratch down the side of the lugs. I tried to capture it in the photos. The only other issue is setting the date is a little weird. I noticed sometimes I need to screw the crown back in and out and pull again to change the date. I am a little baffled why that would be, but the watch works great so I have never looked into it further. It keeps great time and the PR is good so I don't see any issues.
These sell new for $610 plus shipping and taxes to the US. They are now sold out, discontinued and hard to find. I just want $450 shipped CONUS - SOLD!!.
Orange nato not included, no longer have it. Just wanted to show how good it looks on a NATO.
Now onto the HELSON SKINDIVER - SOLD!!
I bought this earlier this year, it's a first generation numbered no-date. Also discontinued and hard to find. It's in great condition, I just never wear it. Someone should enjoy it.
- It's the more desirable 40mm size
- Domed vintage acrylic crystal
- ETA 2824 movement (hard to get watches with these)
- Coated and lumed bezel
- 200m water resistence
- Bright C3 Superluminova lume
It's in great condition and keeps great time. It's an acrylic crystal so there are some hairline scuffs that could be removed with polywatch (camera is dusty), but no chips dings or deep scratches. The case is in excellent shape, no marks beyond some tiny scuffs around the drilled lugs from the previous owner changing straps. I captured them pretty good with the camera.
These sell for a lot because of their rarety and being discontinued. I'm looking for SOLD!! $650 OBO Shipped CONUS.
I'm open to trades but not specifically looking for trade. I like dive watches and looking to stay at the same level or move up (I could put up cash.)
