IWC 1819 cal. 8541 from early 1970s.
Diameter is 36mm without crown.
Lug width is 19mm.
The glass is acrylic.
The buckle is genuine IWC.
Crown has the IWC fish symbol.
The case has been polished and in excellent condition.
The dial is In great condition, except that the lume dots have dried up.
The dial color is silver-champagne. The sunburst is hard to capture on camera.
With this kind of dial, changing strap color can really alter the look of the watch.
I bought this from a watchmaker in Zurich, Switzerland.
It is running on the robust IWC cal. 8541 pelaton movement.
Accuracy is about 5-10s slow a day.
It comes with a used genuine alligator strap (18mm) and a new 19mm tropic silicon strap.
I will also throw in an IWC service case.
I am reluctantly selling this one, but need fund for an Omega Speedmaster.
I have sold many watches here. Please check my seller feedback in the forum.
