    JDM radio-sync goodness: Casio Wave-Ceptor WV-59DJ-1AJF

Thanks to another watch purchase on ebay, I was able to buy this with ebay bucks plus about $13. Not bad for radio-synching watch (in the U.S. and Europe too! Somewhat unusual for a JDM watch). And this has a lot of retro cool.

Light and comfortable. It's rather large and bold even on my big (7 7/8-inch) wrist. 39mm in diameter (including the buttons), 48mm lug to lug, and 12.75 mm thick (including the crystal) It has sort of an Apple Watch look to it, which is kind of funny, because it's going for a retro style that well pre-dates Apple watches.

The bracelet is the usual cheap folded end links, but it looks good with the watch.

Casio 3054 movement with World Time, 60-minute countdown timer, alarm and stop watch. Four-button functionality that's so intuitive I didn't need a manual (which is fortunate because the manual was Japanese-only).

One little nuance I LOVE is having the time along the top, even when in another function.

    Pretty interesting-looking, high-functionality, radio-sync kit for under $50.

I've always liked that one but have never pulled the trigger.
