Picture Orient Star World Time WZ0081FA

The Orient Star World Time WZ0081FA is a Japanese Domestic Model..

It comes in a lovely cardboard gift box with instructions and bracelet sizing tool..

This watch has a power reserve and date subdials. The 24 hour ring rotates counter-clockwise with the movement of the hands. The outer city bezel is bi-directional..

The decorated movement is easily visible through the display caseback with the movement number, etc. being etched along the edge of the rotor..

Lume is good and lasts the night..

The bracelet is of solid links using pins and springs to hold the links together. The endlinks are solid too..

The watch wears comfortably and is not too big or small..

I'm really digging the blue dial version of this watch. Seiya-san's current quote for the WZ0091FA is US$614 which is a bit pricey for me. I haven't written it off entirely though. If you know a less expensive trustworthy retailer I would appreciate that info.

His price sounds about right to me.. You will probably need to watch the for sale sections of the watch forums or place a WTB ad..

Beautiful but I much prefer the design of the Orient Automatic CFA05001B with the WT dial underneath the crystal. Uses the same 46K40 movement as the Orient Star here.
