My thoughts on this one are pure classic. I really enjoy a time piece that takes me back to a time with simple design and pure elegance. Like all Orient mechanical this movement is spot on and I know will give many years of service and dependability. It is what I consider a standard in the watch world. The price is under what I would consider a fair one for this watch. If you are looking for a watch that would please anyone that wants a classic look , look no further. It was easy to warm up to this one.

Great looking watch. Great picts too. I've seen this one online and I had no ideal the dial had that much texture.

Can you comment on the bracelet?

    surprisingly nice piece

i'm generally not in favor of watches that show the full day of week but the combination of the applied markers, textured dial and the clean hands makes that watch stand out.

rather nice at that price point for a mechanical watch.

I think that this watch is absolutely beautiful!
I am astounded at the attention to detail in the crown, face, and the odd number applications that compliment the hand shape.
And it's a solid link bracelet to boot!

I think this piece is a winner at any price. I would be happy to take it for a test ride for a year or two.

    Enjoy it,

    Rice

    That watch rocks!

I have the tonneau of that watch. The dial work is so intricate and amazing. The movement is the Orient-famous Cal. 46E---very good movement---same specs as the 46943.

I agree with Denizen 100%, generally full print days are horrid, but this is pulled off perfectly.

    Beautiful watch!

very nice classic watch! i even bought one for myself too.
it's my first orient watch and i am really happy for the quality, price and looks of the watch.
can someone please tell me how to fully wind this watch, i am trying to wind it but does not get any resistance so i just shake it for about 3 minutes but it stops in less than 10 hours when i do not use it and also is there any short or easy way to set the calendar day, it is taking me forever to set it. any help or comment is highly appreciated.

    thanks
