Survey done. I will order the Kingston without date but will most likely choose the date version as my spare.

    I took the survey BUT

I could not answer the last question
    I haven't decided yet.
It's a tough choice. My heart goes to the like-original non-date,
but my mind wants the date.
Most of the watches I own have a date window, the only one that
    doesn't is a... 1954 rolex (not a sub).

I'll make a decision the last minute I can, probably.
51% sure that i'll go with my heart, which led my here
in the first place. make it 99%

So, if I order the non-date option, which date dial will be 'under' the dial on the watch? I would assume it will be the factory black text on white as it comes from ETA.

Then, if I get the dated dial as my 'spare' dial, I won't actually have the 'correct' date dial for the watch if I change it, assuming our survey concludes with something other than black on white. Is that right, Bill?

Maybe if people foresee changing their dial between dated and non-dated, then they should order the dated dial up front, and get the non-dated dial as the spare.

Just skip the survey if you are not interested in the date window dial.

By the way glad to have your "on board" :D
