1000T Sharky smaller than I expected

Just got my 1000T Sharky and was surprised at how small it was. I immediately called Doxa and ordered the 750T in both Pro and Sharky. My brand new 1000T Sharky (unworn and still in protective wrap) is going up for sale. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I bet you will not have any trouble selling it. I also love the size of the 750T. Actually, size and thickness of the T-Graph is just about perfect for me............

Let me know I have a mint 750 Sharkie and it's too big, that's why I was thinking of the 1000 maybe we can work something out. Ed

My 1000T Pro is a great watch but is also smaller than I expected, will probably hit the sales forum soon as well.

I think it is just the design of the watch, the case is 42mm, but the dial just seem so small...Maybe I will try a 750T in the future or look for a trade.

Already sold the 1000T Sharky to a forum member. I have the 750Ts on the way as soon as Doxa starts shipping again on the 6th.

I hope you packed her well Don! I'm anxiously awaiting the mailman next week!

I admit that my initial plan was to trade with someone who was tired of the orange Pro (which I've had no luck finding), but the more I look at pictures of the Shark the clearer it becomes that I'll probably just have to have both...

The inner bezel diameter is precisely 9/1000 of an inch less than the 600T. You can't measure the actual dial diameter without taking the watch apart. I suppose a digital could measure more precisely than my old dial caliper. For all practical purposes though the 600T and 1000T dials are the same. The reason the dial is so small is the tonneau case. The bezel diameter on the 44mm 750T is the same as my 42mm case watches like my Marathon GSAR. For me what matters in the end is what you like. I'm sure that in the future Doxa will have two size lines of watches just like every other manufacturer. There's a strong enough demand for both the 42mm and 44mm cases out there. Also with brick and mortar AD's you'll be able to try them out before parting with those hard earned pesos.
