That's not entirely true, but 2 weeks ago I really new very little about Doxa and owning one was the furthest thing on my mind. However, I decided I needed a "weekend" watch, something on a bracelet with wrist presence and some heft. I headed over to the sales forum and saw a variety of Doxa's for sale at what I considered reasonable prices. I did some quick research - headed over to the Doxa web site and read post after post on the Doxa forum. I was impressed - both with the apparent quality and utility of Doxa watches and the passion demonstrated by Doxa owners on the forum. So, I took the plunge!
I found a great seller (to whom I am thankful for a painless transaction) and am now wearing a Sub 1000T Sharkhunter COSC. I don't know if this was the best way to start but I really like it on my wrist! Please forgive my enthusiasm but it is a joy to wear and its legibility is a real plus for my aging eyes. Even my wife took notice of it right away and comment how much she liked it.
Here are some quick pictures of the watch and I look forward to learning more about the brand and the people on this forum!
