    40th anniversary T-Graph Sharkhunter, hands

    ******************************************
THE INITIAL POLL WAS DELETED ACCIDENTALLY
    *******************************************

Dear friends and members, the SUB600 T-Graph is going along very well, the dial looks good and it is time to choose the hands, if you have pre-odered, or considering ordering this model, please vote for the color combination you prefer.

    DOXA S.A.

Note: For all of those who voted ALL WHITE, no offense here, but this combination does not look good on the T-Graph, the dial just looks very 2 dimensional and dull, in fact all DOXAs with all white hands never sold well (if at all) for this reason. Thinking of this option and seeing in the flesh are 2 completely different worlds

Just out of interest - AFAIK the vintage ones were white hour and minute, orange second - so offer this too?

I have a 2005 tgraph sharkie with all orange hands. Although it looks great, I sometimes think the dial has too much color going on....orange, black, white, and gray. When I picked up a 1000t sharkie with all white hands, I felt like the dial was more symmetric, matched, or balanced. The all white hands have not made it difficult to pick up the time so I voted for all white hands against the backdrop of a vintage matte color dial. Here is a pic of the 1000t and 2005 tgraph to illustrate my humble opinion.

It would be nice if Doxa's "mock-up" that prompted many to place deposits on this watch could be trusted.

But that's why they are called "mock-ups". There are usually changes from the sample to the final product depending on market research, which in this case is direct from the source! Isn't it better to let the forum decide?

The great thing about Doxa is that it consults its fan base. However if you give an impression of a watch and decide to take orders for it, then I think it is fair that the watch be as close to the 'mock up' as possible....afterall we are talking a fair chunk of change here. If Doxa didn't take orders as result of the mock up then I would agree with dawg, but in this case, I agree with Danny
