    #43-5000T has arrived in London

I've wanted a Doxa for a very long time, its my birthday today and I am now the proud owner of a 5000T Sharkhunter a gift from my beautiful wife.

I can see what all the fuss is about, its a very special watch. Can't wait to resize the bracelet and get it on my wrist.

Thanks Doxa and of course Darling wife.

    Hi,

I thought that like the 750 T serie, the run of 5000 for the 5000 T was a total number, all models included.
How does it work that I have the 5000T Pro #43 and that Dannyboy has also a #43 but a Sharkhunter ?

    Thanks for any light ?

The 750T series was a limit total of 5000 pcs. for all variations. With the advent of the new 1000T, Doxa announced the limits would be for each variation of the series instead (selling more watches, they'd need to do something like that, or come up with new models even faster!). I'm certain the 5000T was also intended as a limit of 5000 for each variation (if indeed a limit was stated, I don't recall if it was ).
    Regards, T Bone.

Thank you T Bone. As far as a limited production, here it is from Doxa :
    Limited Edition
    5000 pieces only

    That's from the Doxa website.

Well, Dannyboy and I have somewhat of a special connection now : we both own a #43 from the 5000T collection !!!

PS: I haven't yet seen anyone claiming a number smaller then #43 on this forum. What happened to the 42 others ?

A good point - what happened to the lower numbers? Also, I thought the numbers were assigned randomly but it seems that we all have pretty low numbers so maybe they are sequential. In any case, it doesn't matter in the end - we are all lucky people to own this watch!

    All the best,
    Grahame.
