    5000T Milshark COSC

When I was in GC in May I was torn between the Caribbean and Milshark version of the 5000T COSCs at Island Time. The Caribbean spoke to me more, and that's what I came home with. The Milshark kept haunting me, though, and I decided to put it on hold so I could think about it awhile. I finally caved, and it came home this week. Serial number is 26/5000. Just hope I can keep the PVD clean!

Here's a shot on the bracelet, but I'm going to switch it over to an Isofrane to keep the bracelet clean for now. I'm easy on watches, but not so much on bracelets!

Anyone know off hand what the distribution of COSCs in the various 5000Ts was? I thought I read somewhere 50 for each variety, but I'm not sure.

I'll post some more pics when I get the Isofrane on.

I have had a 5000T COSC Caribbean before and there were 50 of those made. I have also had the 5000T COSC Milshark AKA "Golden Boy" check with Andy Bard at Doxa who will tell you how many of thoses were made and also my only remaining 5000T COSC, Professional. I consider these valuable as they have the superior quality 2892 and not the 2824 ETA movements adjusted in five positions and three different temperatures to meet within tolerances of accuracy -4 to +6 seconds a day of COSCs

Not crazy about the size or the PVD, but man that thing is sick looking.

Wayne, show it off with the Isofrane you just had put on. That's one of the best looking combo's on any DOXA!

Congrats! I've always admired the 5000 PVD version. Looks great.
