5000T Sharkhunter COSC Power Reserve question

I picked up a NOS 5000T Sharhunter COSC from a forum member a few months ago. The watch is keeping near perfect time but I have noticed the power reserve is not very good. On average it will only run for about 18 hours if sitting still. I know it is listed at 42 hours, my times are nowhere close to that. Should I be concerned with the poor power reserve? Thanks for any help.

    Is it fully wound?

Thanks for the reply. As far as I know it is fully wound. I usually wind it about 25-30 turns. I also wear it all the time so this would happen after wearing straight for a week or a month and then let it sit. I have let sit and stop about 3 times now.

Are you active when you wear it? Or are you stationary? Sometimes that makes all the difference.

The power reserve doesn't sound right... but could be a result of stationary use. If I were you, I'd just take the watch to a watchmaker and have him look at it - peace of mind beats online speculation every time.

    Cheers

Thanks for the replies. I work and have two young kids so I think I am fairly active. I'll just keep the thing on all the time and not worry about it. Not worth taking to a watchmaker just yet.
