    600T Spirotechnique

The 600T Spirotechnique is still one of my all time favourites, yet an elusively seen member of the Doxa family.

Thanks! It took some work to get it to look in it's current state.

I'll be sure to update some pics soon. Story wise....it took me about 5 years of looking to bump into this one. When I bought it online, the pics were not "totally" representational of the merchandise. The case was mirror polished (no big deal), but all the deep dings and dents had not been removed before polishing! Also, the dial was a mess. It was covered in a layer of dirty grime that made it look as though the paint were faded and flaking off. The hands were a mess, no lume and bad paint. The crystal was badly scratched up. It also did not run right.

I took it apart myself, and was able to clean the dial, repaint the second markers/ticks that were missing, and relume the indices. I gave the case and bracelet a crazy refinish. It was hard taking all the dents/dings out. It went for servicing to Chronodeco, and he gave the movement a thorough going over and repainted and relumed the hands, and replaced the crystal with a THICK hesalite/acrylic one. I still have the original, but it was beyond polishing and you can't get these. The rest is....enjoyment!
