Not sure exactly what you mean.......

For those of us that are Doxa collectors, this is a very rare piece. I have only seen one other. One persons trash is another man's treasure. A brief look at Doxa history and you will see why people go for "trash" like this........

Incidentally, here is the one other Doxa Army that I have seen........

One of these days I'm going to send it for service. Needs a new balance staff and crystal and seals. The crystal isn't cracked but has a bunch of scratches. This was my wear everywhere, all the time watch for about ten years. It may become that again, who knows, eh!
Man I love those orange hands!

I think they were being facetious. I really dig the army model.

    Could be...........

I really like it as well. The extremely retro hands, the Tonneau case, the "army" stamped caseback. I wonder what bracelet this model actually sold with? For some reason I doubt it was the standard Doxa rice-bead. Any ideas??

I only wish it had the typical Doxa dive bezel. IMHO it looks better. Although it might not look right on the Army.

    +1
Doxa, what are your thoughts and facts on this beauty? Got any hidden in the archives that you can sell me? I'll certainly buy one.

Didn't mean to offend anyone by my ignorance. The pictures from e-bay weren't as clear as the one Jason posted. Thanks for setting me straight. I appreciate it. Whenever I see fuzzy pictures I just have a hard time verifying the authenticity of any "collectible"....

I got it!! And i think it was a good price for such a rare watch.

Don't know why but i think it's a really cool, very unusual and retro. Will see how it looks once arrived and will decide if to keep it as-is or get it refurbished.

My 3rd rare Doxa this week - and definitely the last!!
