Another Doxaholic Returns to the Fold

Well, having previously owned two SUB750T Pro, a SUB750T Pro GMT and a Deco, and having subsequently sold each of them in turn, I think that I've finally found the one that's going to stick! I do not have ready access to a camera over here right now, so pics will have to wait, but I am the proud new owner of a gently used SUB300T Pro from Liz ("laughinggull") that I received late yesterday afternoon via USPS.

An awesome timepiece. The case just fits perfectly on my wrist and the orange of the face is amazing. Love the bracelet and accompanying black leather strap and the fact that everything can be adjusted by screws is great. It looks like this one's going to be the keeper!

    BACK JAMES!!!!

You really made a perfect choice when coming back. The 300T reissue is so unusual and different from every other watch out there. I love a unique watch! And, to be so different from even one of the other Doxas.......That is saying something

    Oh and,

Please post a few photos when you have a chance......:thanks
    Best Regards,
    Jason

Nice pick-up! I've seen photos of Liz's 300T and it's immaculate. Congrats! Looks like we have the same taste in watches since I know you're on the Kobold Forum as well.

BTW, hope all is well and your deployment is uneventful in a good way.

Re: Another Doxaholic Returns to the Fold

    Thanks, Guys.

Yep, it's a pretty amazing watch and just seems to feel and look right on the wrist. For whatever reason I never really bonded with the previous four, but this one's the one. I feel like that guy on Godfather (2? 3?) - "Everytime I think I've got out, they pull me back in..." :)

As for pics, I'll see about borrowing a friend's and see how that works, although I half expect the pics to be dust with a little silver glint in the middle (it's freaking dusty over here). I'll try some shots and see what comes out.

As for an unevevntful tour, so far, so good! And I agree, snoballz, we certainly do seem to have the same good taste in watches! Beautiful collection you have there!

    Ciao,

    James

Way to go James, saw that ad and thought - nice!
I owe it all to you for my first foray into this wonderful world of Doxa's.
I loved the 750T but have bonded so much with the more vintage like 1000T.
Post pics when you can, safe trip home to the Eastern townships soon.

    " For watches there's always TIME "

I was asked what the time was that was on my watch ?
Does anybody really know what time it is ?
    Does anybody really care ?
If so I can't imagine why..........
I do, I do, I do care about time.

Hey, Robert! Great to hear from you, mate. Hope that all is well in your world these days. And glad that I could assist you with your foray into the world of Doxa.

As for the SUB300T that I bought, it's amazing. Great timepeice and I'm extremely happy that I got it.

    Anyway, gotta go.
