    Another Lost Watch Found

After reading Dr. Hoop's issue with a lost in shipping watch I can say the watch I had coming I thought was lost as well has been found. It came through USPS. Was supposed to be signed for delivery but I wasn't home. The Postal Carrier just put the watch in the back seat of one of our cars but didn't leave any slip in the mailbox.

I have had the watch close to 2 weeks and didn't know it. The seller tracked it and it showed delivered and signed for. We were going through the process to trace the signature for delivery and I found the watch. Goes to show that USPS isn't too dependable either. So here is my "new" Doxa.

Beautiful! At least it has a happy ending; kind of frustrating how they left it and didn't communicate anything...

They opened up one of your cars and put it inside?? There's gotta be regulations about that, that sounds like a really unorthodox delivery technique!

I have had them do it before but they always left a slip in the mail box or even called me and let me know. I know the mail carrier. She may of left a sticky note on the door that could of blew off. I hardly ever drive this car and my nephew who drove it last left a door unlocked. I have ordered parts for my Jeep before many times and they would put the box inside the Jeep if I wasn't home.

Wow that is a strange arrangement - to leave a car unlocked so the mailman can put a package inside it. I guess I'm just jaded from growing up in a big city - I never my car unlocked, not even in my own garage! Ok I think I am just weird.

Stunning Divingstar btw. I wish they still sold a 750T version of it.
    Lots of dive watches.

Ah, rats. Doesn't seem like a huge effort for them to make a regular one, after all everything is the same as the normal orange dial except for the dial.

You know, the weird thing is that I am not sure why. Why in the world wouldn't they have made a regular 750T DS. I mean, everybody knows it would have been a big seller. Probably would have sold almost as well as the Carib......
    Best Regards,
    Jason
