Best Vintage Sharky 300T I've Seen in a While

I know this one will not hide from guys in the forum, so I thought I would post a link. I have not seen a specimen like this in quite some time. Especially when you consider the paperwork and box...........

Beautiful watch. Georgeous watch. However, the condition is too good. I wouldn't buy it because if I did, I would be too afraid to wear it. It would sit in my safe and that's no reason to buy a watch. A watch has to be worn and worn often without fear of scratching it. This watch will fetch a premium - and end up sitting in someone's safe.

Not necessarily so. My Vintage Synchron Pro is in quite nice shape and has never had any restoration. I do not wear it every day, but I love to wear it on special occasions............

I guess you are right though that it will probably not be worn too often depending on who gets it............

Those are some blurry photos. I wouldn't bid without some better ones...

That`s my bid currently on the watch . I would like to see better pics, but imagine that it is in pretty decent shape, and with the bracelet and boxes would be a nice catch.

Not sure if my budget will be rich enough, but I am giving it a shot.

    Cheers,
    Vic

Just my hunch, but I would be surprised if it goes for much less than $1,800 at the lower end.........

That's crazy money for that watch! I'd be surprised to see it go that high.

$1800 won't surprise me either. The last few decent vintages I've followed have gone in the $1300+ range and didn't have all the original goodies to go with it.

I'm hoping that the renewed interest in DOXA and resurgence of the brand will bring out new finds that have been sitting in drawers for years. Maybe even find some of the never found pieces like the T-Graph Conquistadors.

I could be wrong However, that is in the ballpark of the two vintages that I have, The Synchron Pro and the Poseidon. I think what is key is the fact that it allegedly:

    ---has not been restored

---has the original paperwork and box

    ---its pristine condition

This is the other issue. Prices seem to have escalated on the vintage watches in the last 6 months. I let that vintage T-Graph Searambler get away several months ago for $1700. It was seemingly in better condition than the one that just sold on Fleabay for $2661.52

That Pre-Synchron Sharky has 9 days left and is already more than $1k............
