Bezel differences in outer ring depths

I have a seahunter 300T and wonder why it has different depth numbers on its outer bezel than any of the later watches. The decomp numbers should all be the same as time and depth are the variables. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Andy

    Rather simple answer for you!

2002 300T reissue has the numbers in Metres.

The later watches - 750T et al - are in Feet, hence bigger numbers.

Doxa has a long tradition in making both types of bezel rings, with numbers in feet and in meter to serve divers in the US using feet and in other countries using the metric system.

The Vintage DOXA SUB 300T with US Divers Logo for example always came with bezels in feet, the Doxas sold in Europe mostly where in meters.

During the Aubry period the Doxa SUB watches where offered with a choice of several bezel inserts to choose from.

When Doxa started in 2001 with the reissue 300T the depth-engravings on the bezel were in meters only – no chose. With the 600T coming out in 2003 they switched to feet due to the US-market. This lasts until today.
In the older days both variations were available.
