Differences between production and prototype 5000T.

Hi guys I just signed up on the forum!

I was able to purchase a 5000t recently; I've liked Doxa's and Dirk Pitt for a while-- and since my gf got my diving lessons I thought I should get something to commemorate them. =) Thats what I'm telling her anyway...

I havent seen any posts on this, if you can post any directions to it if I missed it, I'd appreciate it!

I've seen the pics of the Conquistadore (not sure about spelling.)
And I've seen the specs for the Seaconquerer.

What changes happened between the proto and the final product other than the name?

Is the watch on the website definitely be the one that is shipping? As in, might they still change back the logo to the "traditional" style or any other minor differences like that?

Thanks for the answers! Sorry if they seem "stupid" to the many knowledgeble members!

I believe what you see is what you get with the Seaconqueror. Dr Pete's watch was a prototype but I think only the name is different.

Thats a great looking watch, so thats a great thing! And a convenient excuse to get a more traditional doxa down the road...

What about internal changes? Things other than looks?

See this thread. Only the pictures of Pete's watch are different. All features listed are in the final production

I have to say, the change to a polished silver hour marker frame looks sooooo hot on the new DOXA. functionally i don't think it's any better or worse than the black outlines, and doesn't look any better or worse, but it's definitely HOT! I guess it's something new, because-correct me if I'm wrong- it's the only orange face with silver markers.
