Dilemma on what to do - 750 Crib for 5K Crib

I really like my 5K Pro, now I have a chance for a 5K Carib, but would have to sell my 750T Carib... I even have the Wong Shark band for it...

To all the guru's, WHAT WOULD YOU DO...

You should get the 5000T and sell the 750 to me.

Seriously, I'd keep the 750T. I think the size is pretty much similar. Some may mention depth limits but seriously, um, who is going down that far?

There were 250 750T caribs made and they have been sold out for almost three years now. On the other hand, there will be a bazillion 5000Ts of each flavor made and will be available for many years to come....

    That is a dilemma.

As stated there will not a 5000T Caribbean shortage for quite some time...keep the 750 and just save your pennies...

Tough call!!! Which do you like better for fit etc .... 5K or 750? Are you concerned about resale value?? Collecting or just wearing?

If it was me ... I would keep the 750 ... I like it best of all the Doxa's and I also collect and wear them .... That isn't to say that the 5K isn't great because it is, but rather which one I like best.

    Man I hear your pain.

The 5K Carib is very very cool.... BUT it's not a 750 Carib, especially with that Strap.

Back away from the edge my friend, back away slowly.....

This is by far the best answer!

    Thanks!

Hey, and are those straps available, or are they just a pipe dream at this point?

If you are referring to the Wong strap, it was a VERY short lived item and there will be no more...

I was lucky enough to get one (thanks WUS) and it stays with the carib...

You may be right, he may not agree to make any more. However, there was a time that he would make a run of the straps whenever he had enough interest. (like 10-15 straps) I do remember reading that he would not make any more with the orange edges. He made at least 1 run with a blue edge, and it looked good......but not nearly as good as the orange-edged one.
    Best Regards,
    Jason
