Divingstar GMT on a NATO (bracelet saver)

I recently re-aquired a Doxa Divingstar 750 GMT. I was glad to get one back as I've always regretted selling the original. In order to save the pristine bracelet I sourced the best looking NATO I could find for this example. I had a heck of a time finding anything decent at 21 mm wide. I managed to find this Yellow/Dark Blue NATO that (actually a 2 piece Nylon) I thought might work. After I got it, I realized that the darK Blue was almost Black, which was a nice surprise. The results are below. Opinions?

The strap looks good, but why are you trying to save the bracelet from a few scratches? The DOXA bracelet is one of the most comfortable bracelets around, and if you like wearing bracelets, you are cheating yourself by not giving the DOXA bracelet a go.

    Doesn't fit the case.
A real NATO would fit better.

But same question here. Why not the original BOR bracelet ? Like subkrawler already say, one the most comfortable braclets on market.

The GMT bracelet is one of the best made by Doxa and it is indeed very comfortable. I bought a couple from Doxa and put them on some of my Doxas. The yellow and blue/black NATO is not bad but the GMT is MADE for the bracelet.

All right, All right...I'll switch between the two. :) The bracelet I had on my previous DS had the center links polished, which I liked as well. Thanks for the opinions, Gents. Good and meh. You are right, though. The Doxa bracelet is both comfortable and distinctive.

I hate the center polished links personally. A uniform brushed finish looks much more refined and elegant to my eye. Less flashy. But then again, I am more of a tool watch person.

When my bracelets get scratched up enough I take a small, very well worn, fine grit scotchbrite flap wheel mounted on an air powered die grinder and give them a quick once over. Usually in a minute or two they are back to beautiful, clean, like new condition without the polished centers. So easy to do and it works for most brush finished watches, even case sides, for getting out the minor swirlies.

I fitted a 22mm Isofrane-alike from Obris Morgan to mine. I'd probably save it for the beach though, it's a bit too in your face for work...
