    Doxa 1000t professional

What do you guys think of the 1000t?
I guy I delt with before have a 1000t safe queen that he might sell and I'm thinking of buying it.
Anyone out there who can give me some feedback?
    Maybe some pics too?

I have a Numa blue and a 750t Searambler in my collection right now. Should I put in a 1000t as well?
I ordered the 300 reissue professional. Maybe I should change that to a sharkhunter and buy the 1000t.... Decisions decisions... :)

I don't believe there is any visual difference in a 1000T and a 1200T Professional. If your NUMA is a 1200, then the case will be basically the same. As to changing your pre order, there are only 300 of each model, so those may become difficult to acquire as the shipping date nears.
It really depends on what YOU want on your wrist day to day. A bonus is, you can always flip it!

The 1000T lacks an HRV, so the case will be much thinner.

Yes the 1000t is thinner than the 1200t. You don't find so much written about the 1000t. Neither here nor on any other watch forum. Any particular reason for that you think?

Perhaps they just never caught on like the others. They lack the HRV, which many prefer to have. Perhaps at the time of their release people were wanting a larger size. I'm sure others on here have more historical knowledge. I think they are beautiful. I like the thinner case and have no need for an HRV. If my 750t's ever feel too large I will definitely pick up a 1000t. Maybe sooner if the price is right

My 1000T pro COSC sits flatter on my wrist than my 1200T rambler. Also the BOR are thicker on the 1200T.

I pre-ordered my 1000T Pro when they first were released back in 2007 and I liked it so much that I bought a 1000T Divingstar too. Both are non COSC. But keep perfect time <1 sec. per day. Haven't had them serviced yet because they have presented zero problems and are such great time keepers. Lack of an HRV is not an issue for me as the watch is way over engineered for any thing I could possibly throw at it. I really can't say that it's any more or less comfortable than my 600T or my 750Ts. The reason that there haven't been any recent threads is because it's been nearly 10 years. People are always moving on to the next best thing.

    Thanks for your input.
I think I'll buy it. You can always have two orange Doxas right?! :)
