Doxa 1000t (Project Aware or Caribbean) or 5000T

    Hi guys !!

My name is Francisco, new here and is my first post. I'm from Spain and love doxa watches.

I do not chose one, my wrist is 18.5 centimeters (7.3 inches). 42,7 mm will be small?

I have a seiko MARINEMASTER and see it perfectly in my wrist.

What color do you prefer? Orange Project Aware or Caribbean?

Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english

    Best regards

    Francisco,

    Welcome to the forum.
In my opinion you should start with Doxa orange; either the 1000T Pro/Project Aware or the 5000T Pro.
You will hear many opinions on the size issue. It really is about preference. I like the 1000T size for two reasons. First is that I have a rather small wrist at 6 12/" and second is that the 1000T is very close in dimensions to the original 300T sub.
The 5000T is larger and heavier but also a beautiful watch.
I think you would be happy with either one

Francisco, if you like the Size of the Marinemaster, I believe you might be a bit disappointed with the 1000T. The dimensions are a bit deceiving. Even though it is 42mm, since it has a cushion-style case......it wears smaller IMHO. Personally, I believe that you have 3 options:

---5000T. Any color would be great. They are all very nice looking.

---600T-Graph. The T-graph Searambler is an AWESOME watch

---A used 750T model. These are more in line with the size of the MM, but I believe they might be a hair smaller.

If you thought that you could wear a slightly smaller watch, then the 1000T might work. I just believe it is important to realize that the dial size on the 1000T is slightly smaller than a Rolex Sub (and the Rolex is only 40mm), and I think that some people are deceived by the stated dimensions.

    Thanks guys,

I've been looking pics and my conclusions are:

    - 600T Graph: I don't like chrono in a diver

    - 1000T series : I like a lot but... I see small for my wrist. I am accustomed with Oris Small Second, Breitling Seawolf...

    - 5000T: I don't like esthetic, (FOR ME) away from pure doxa style.

    - 750T: that is the goal, but I can not buy 750T new

750T Series "will return without GMT?

    Greetings

No, I am sorry. The 750T series will not be returning.

I would look for one that is NOS or a used example if that is what you truly would like.

    Jason

Tha 5000t is beautiful, but i prefer the rice bracelet...and the 750T sharky GMT?
