Picture The Doxa at the end of the world

These are the voyages of the 750T Professional. It's ongoing mission to boldly go where no watch has gone before.

The shot below shows it at Cape Spear, Newfoundland. The most easterly point on the North American continent. It's as close as you can get to Ireland without getting on a plane. Heck, I could probably have got my mum on mobile phone

We went for a gallyvant round the country yesterday and ended up hiking through a forest to a long abandoned fishing village settlement from the 18th century. Aparently thee place got trashed during a storm and the people left. There was only the recognisable remains of 2 houses left but the big picture is the view that these people would have seen....Absolutely amazing. I am really thankful to my company for the short posting to St. John's. This part of Canada is wonderful. The scenery and people are some of the best I have ever encountered. I really lucked out. I think this photo is probably the best I have ever taken.

The other pics are just me playing with the camera again. Getting better lighting and improving all the time I hope.

    More to come.

    Pete

    Doc,

You'd make Clive Cussler and Dirk Pitt proud with your travels. How do I get a job like that?

Great photos and of course a superb choice for a watch.

    Cheers,

    Avi

Great photos Pete, imagine what it would have been like for all those emigrents who left Ireland all those years ago, to be able to take a photo and "post it" and someone in Ireland seeing it on the same day. Isn't technology great
