Friday was an off day with a very happy ending. After an unusually tough day made worse by a 3 hour flight delay, I arrived home to unwrap a couple of new presents. I had been anticipating the arrival of the T-Graph for almost 6 weeks, and it did not fail to please. But alas, it remains nicely coddled, as I had another more pressing package to unwrap.
Doxa orange was a must have, but my first love is the Caribbean, more specifically, Searambler's Carribean. I really wanted that blue shark skin strap to go with mine. Mr. Wong's package arrived earlier in the week, and I couldn't wait any longer to open it and attach it.
About a month ago I bought an extremely nice, second hand RR, seeing it as an opportunity knocking only once. Of course a week later Doxa announced a surprise find, and I had to jump at a chance to buy a second Caribbean. Neither have seen any wrist time yet. It just didn't feel perfect without that strap.
There's no doubt I'll get to T-Graph in due time, but the Carribean has been waiting too long and will take the honors for next couple weeks.
Looking back, June will go down as one of my bigger WIS splurges. 4 Doxa's later, and a wife looking for her own reward, I can say with confidence that I have no regrets.
Here's a picture of the gang.
