    The Doxa GMT

I was wondering for those with a Doxa GMT does it have the regular hour hand move in one hour jumps like the Rolex GMT??

What are peopels thoughts about the GMT model, which one is there best model??

    Re: The Doxa GMT

On the Doxa GMT the regular hour hand is just like ordinary watches. It is the 24 Hr. Skeleton hand which moves in one hour jumps. There are three positions for the crown. Pos. one is for winding. Pos. two adjusts the date counter clockwise and the 24 Hr. hand clockwise. Pos. three sets the hours and minutes and hacks the second hand.

James, Welcome to the Doxa Forum!

As to which is best of the GMT's, I suspect you'll get four different answers . Of the GMT's, the Professional is awesome, the Caribbean is beautiful, the Sharkhunter is superb.... but personally, I'm partial to the Divingstar....

    Regards, T Bone.

    Re: The Doxa GMT

James, to answer one of your questions, the Doxa GMT works differently than the Rolex GMT II. As you stated, with the Rolex, the regular hour-hand can be adjusted independently. With the Doxa, it is the 24-hour hand that is adjusted and "jumps" to the next hour when adjusted. The nice thing about the Doxa is the inner rotating bezel that can be adjusted without effectively setting the hands at all. The Rolex GMT II is a very nice design, but when a person considers the overall cost, the Doxa GMT is a pretty nice value. Also, the Doxa GMT is STUNNING!!! Regardless of which color you choose.

    Hope this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Jason

I recently picked up a 750T GMT Professional and really love it. It is a real nice touch to be able to track three different time zones. The fit and finish is top drawer.

my favorite GMT is the Sharkhunter GMT. the most understated of the GMTs ( though none of them are understated--it's all relative) with a cool presence. a little more orange than the other 750T Sharkhunters, which I like.
