    The DOXA Golden Alarm

We've talked about it somewhat, but such a stunning watch deserves a thread of it's own. DOXA, with it's vast history of horological masterpieces, is mostly known here in the West for their Sub line of diving watches. Well, they did something different this year, and produced an extremely limited edition model dress watch, in 18kt rose-gold, housing a 1950s vintage DOXA alarm caliber.

Here are a couple catalog shots from the Basel press release, including the full specs.

And the masterpiece herself...clean and elegant.

So how much does she cost, you might ask? Like a vintage sports car, or a fine bottle of wine...it's not really about the price, now is it?
