Doxa SUB 200 T-Graph movement sold on "the Bay"

A "NOS" movement for the 200 T-Graph sold on eBay today. It has a Sharkhunter dial and original hands, so that's a big plus. Getting hold of a case (with crystal) could prove difficult, but not impossible - but a case usually comes without a crown, and you'd also need a winding stem to fit. With some patience, this could be a nice watch, but at a price of over EUR 3,500 (USD 4,000) I don't know if it will be a profitable venture.

Was it someone here who won the auction?

It’s a lot of money for sure but if you had already a 200t say a searambler or professional version you could swap complete movement and dial if you fancied a change

Honestly, I think it was likely a dial play. Someone probably had a working example but with rough hands and dial. This gives you the ability to swap out to something much much cleaner.

The profitability is a difficult calculation. It may be that having a really clean dial gives them more liquidity in unloading the watch overall. The vintage doxa collecting community is still relatively small, and condition speaks a lot for anyone looking to spend $10K+ on an example of anything.
