    Doxa Sub 250 Sharkhunter

Just became a new owner of a Doxa Sub 250 Sharkhunter. Its a reissue from 2003 with only 200 made. Its one of the most unique watches I have seen with its domed crystal. The watch looks as it has never be worn. Came with a Hirsch leather band. I replaced with a Nato band which I think looks better. If anyone has any more info on the history of this watch it would be appreciated. Attached some pics. Thanks.

    Nice catch...
I've owned a couple of them(as seen below, one with painted bezel, one w/out)...found them to be like most Doxa's, trouble free, easy to wear on strap or bracelet and very accurate. IIRC, the movement is the ETA 2452 (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I thought they were initially released in 2002 and originally came without a painted bezel on a black rubber strap in a black box with Doxa logo on top and a printed set of operating instructions.

Yes you are correct. By the way what type of bracelet do you have on your Sub 250. Very nice. Is it the standard 20mm.
    Thanks.

I am thinking of a Sharkhunter. What are the differences between the Sharkhunter and other Doxa diver variations? Thanks!

    Dial color as a starter:
    Sharkhunter: Black
    Professional: Orange
    Searambler: Silver
    Divingstar: Yellow
    Caribbean: Blue
and there are some oddities in there as well.
