Doxa Sub 300 (no T) One of these watches is 50 years younger.

I have seen many companies reworking old models into their new line up. You can call them hommage or re-edition like the great job Tudor has done with their heritage line.

But here Doxa has really met the challenge with a faithful re-edition like no other. To celebrate 50 years of diving heritage that started it all.

The Doxa Sub 300 was a pioneer among the swiss diver watch evolution beating Rolex early on with 300 vs 200 meter depth rating and the creation in the late 1968 /69, in collaboration with Rolex, the Hellium Release Valve as we know it today.

Enjoy and try to spot the intruder.

The selection below feature two original Doxa 300 no t and the Re-edition 50 years later.

I can only thank Doxa for really doing a great job with this re-edition.

I can't see how they could have done anything better.

I will post some more side by of the two sisters.

I may play around with fitting an original beads of rice bracelet and see how that goes. But I am a big nato fan so the comparison without the new bracelet really helps to show the main features.

I'm guessing the original is the middle one in the top photo. They all look great though!

Doxa did an amazing job. Real collectors piece for sure. And you can dive without fear.

Excellent pics of 3 gorgeous watches!
What kind of NATO is this? I really like the colour and texture. And it suits the watches perfectly!

Thanks for the link! But what kind of color is yours? Seems to look more greyish than the stealth black, but darker than the admirality grey?
    Anyway, they all look great!
