    Doxa Watch Winder settings

I have a 1200t Sharkhunter and I bought a watch winder just wondering what I should set the speed and direction to?

Hi Alan - I have a winder set to alternate clockwise/anti-clockwise and that seems to work well. (The ETA 2824-2 and Sellita SW200 have bidirectional rotors).

I usually put on 2 mins wind/6 mins rest - that works out equivalent to 6 hours wear in 24 hours.

My winder turns at 10 rotations per minute - so that means 1800 clockwise and 1800 anti-clockwise turns in 24 hours.

    Cheers!

My watch winder randomly goes from periods of rests, to moderate rotations, with occasional bursts (ideally once per day) of 30 - 45 minutes of 20 rotations per minute. It stops completely over night. I fear the rest periods are getting longer and longer as time goes on, but it's been around a long time and getting old. I know what you're thinking, but replacing it is not a viable solution.
