    Doxa Website Testimonials

This may well be only applicable to me as a marketer but whenever I look at the Doxa website I'm always drawn to the testimonials which relate to watches that are no longer available to buy (SUB 750 & 5000).

This makes the website appear neglected and is therefore quite likely to deter potential new customers from going any further: 'Wow, that SUB750 sounds fantastic - oh ****, it's not on the website.'

Is there any reason why these are not kept more up to date and therefore relevant for current customers?

You have great product and a strong online customer base right here - as such I'm sure that finding testimonial content for current watches wouldn't be hard - and would make for a more engaging website.

    Just a thought

Some companies have just not been able to keep up with the demands of maintaining an up to date web site or even more challenging, the social media outlets. They have a Facebook page, which also has some dated photos, but it looks like they are trying to keep it up to date. I never checked for a Twitter account or Instagram.

100% agree and not too much of an issue for a brand with a conventional bricks and mortar retail route to market.

However, for a brand that sells its SUB range almost exclusively online this lack of maintenance would appears to be rather more problematic and likely to put potential customers off.

I'm sure that with its newly rebranded forum / owners club gaining positive quotations and even owner images wouldn't be a problem for the brand.

This is where online brands have moved to in recent years producing a far slicker - more integrated - customer experience.

Given the current Doxa SUB price point, which is moving up into the territory of brands like Oris, Seiko, TAG and even Omega, I believe that the customer expects better.

So come on Doxa - let's give the website a refresh deserving of the brand!

Good point, a vendor who only has a web presence might want to be more current.
