    Doxaholic without the Doxa...NO MORE!!

I dont know how many of you know the story, but I had posted in the Dive Forum two weeks ago during the first round of the tournament that if Ohio beats Georgetown, I was going to finally get my dream watch. Well for anyone who follows the tournament, you know how that went!

So I used to be the Doxaholic without the Doxa. Now I am a full fledged Doxaholic. Hello everyone, my name is Zach and I am a Doxa Addict. Anyway, here is my story I posted over at the DWF:

A little package came for me today and of course, it was my dream watch. The watch I have been coveting for maybe a year. It was written in the stars when my little mid-major alma mater from Athens, Ohio had it's 23,000 students collectively willing themselves for an upset victory over Georgetown. And it was done. I had the money to buy my watch.

The watch means something more to me then a few of my other watches for obvious reasons. The Doxa 1000T Sharkhunter and my Swiss Army Maverick II Chrono which I bought after graduating from grad school are quite significant.

Of course every watch has a story, But there is just something about Doxa...

The pictures are crude, I know...but the watch is not, its stunning.

I have obtained my grail so I am going to be stepping away from obtaining watches for the time being. Having said that, I will never leave these boards. I love it here too much. Here are some pics:

The last pic is a picture of my two loves: the most beautiful thing ive ever seen... and my girlfriend :) haha. This is the first time she has ever been happy in terms of my watch addiction. Usually its nothing but arguments about saving money, you all know how it is im sure.

    Enjoy!

I cant stop looking at this watch, its now an obsession. I was driving through the Lincoln Tunnel admiring the lume and it almost caused a traffic accident.

Very Nice! But always remember we all need a voice of reason, and you have a very nice looking voice of reason!
    Enjoy your Doxa!

Your 1000T wasn't a keeper, or did you just sort of trade up for the 5000T Sharkie? Did you need a bigger case?

And thank you everyone for the compliments...on the watch AND the gf. She can tell how genuinely happy this Sharkhunter makes me and and therefor it makes her happy. I would defiantly be lying though if I said my hobby did not cause arguments between us. Thats why I promised that after the Doxa I would wait a long while to get my next piece, the Omega Seamaster 300m Quartz, which is the answer to what some of you asked "What's next?" My gf is amazing though.

You know what else is amazing??? My Doxa Sub 1000T Shark freakin' Hunter Limited Edition with White Minute Hand SUCKAAAA.

I think I told you congrats already on the other forum, but congrats again.
I should be getting my first doxa this tuesday and I'm really excited.
Funny that at first I didn't like the doxa subs and then it became my grail
I'm sure I will be as excited as you
