    Unhappy Is this the end?

    I have a terrible problem.

I am a trading junkie. I've been known to trade a watch which hasn't even arrived yet.

Here's the problem. I have this neato 5000T and a two tone Rolex GMT II. The Doxa is the brick S***house of divers with the same helium valve as the Rlex SD.

The GMT is untradeable for personal reasons.

I originally got the Doxa with visions of getting a Breitling Steelfish X in trade and now I find that the B seems pedestriAn by comparison.

My Doxa has the misprinted 'Patended' and can onlky be worth a bunch more in 15 years, and the movement is head and shoulders above the BR-17 in terms of durability and longevity.

    I fear I am 'stuck'.

I think I need to cough up another $1,800 for a watch I don't like so I can get back into the 'catch and release' program

    Re: Is this the end?

I know the feeling as I am pretty much down to one more that is already on the chopping blocks. I could also see me offloading the Sammy but that is my beater and I just like it too much on a Bond Nato to get rid of it.

I would be very hard pressed to trade or sell any of my Doxa pieces. Really hard pressed.

Guess you're not the only one that may have to ante up.

Come on guys - hang the risks just keep buying and selling whether you have the cash to cover it or not. I mean it works fine for the stock market, banks etc .................................................. ............. doesn't it

    Alasdair

PS All suggestions here are taken at your own risk and the value of your wallet contents can go down as well as really down as not only am I not a financial adviser but I could lose money with a each way bet in a two horse race.
