    Extremely rare non-sub vintage DOXA

    Hi Fellow DOXAholics,

I thought I'd share a RARE vintage DOXA I found on our favorite auction site. I am posting the auction under this clause form the forum rules:

"Also links to historically significant items are allowed for informational and discussion purposes."

This watch used a Chezard movement that allowed the second hand to tick at one second intervals, just like a quartz! This is only the fourth one I have ever seen come up for sale!

A little window into DOXA's past

Hmm if the $1,400 start price isn't enough to scare off buyers then the $70 US or $100 worldwide fixed-price shipping surely is !!

Does this come in a 2kg lead display box or something !!

    Hi David,

I think the rarity of the watch is th reason for the price, I never seen on for under $1000.00 ,but, it must weigh a ton, due to the shipping cost!

    Cheers,
    Andy
