Feedback on Doxa 750T GMT Sharkhunter

    Hi all,

New to the forum and very interested in and passionate about Doxas.

Have recently come across a mint Doxa 750T GMT Sharkhunter at a dealer. I've been doing some research on that model, however, cannot find a ton of information. Would love to hear from the community about that model. How's the availability / desirability of it? Anything notable I should be aware of?

Just looking for some input from experts.

    thanks!

I really like the GMTs and if you pick one up for a good price I would go for it. The shark hunter versions don’t come up very often

Thanks for the input. Based on my research it seems that the GMTs were not nearly as demanded as other models..

That said, I can get this piece for 1450 USD with full kit, including the orange strap. Seems pretty reasonable, I assume?

They were not as popular but now since you cannot get them they go very quickly when they come up - at that price I would grab it in a hot second, especially if in good shape with the bracelet, tube and card. Since they have the GMT movement they are smooth as silk and the bracelet is a little thicker and the watch sits well. If you don’t grab it I would:)

Assuming that it is in 95% plus condition or better, $1,450 is a very good price.
    My advise, buy it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and insight, much appreciated. I've got it on hold, so I'm going to drive and have a look this weekend. I'll snap some pictures, etc. and post afterwards (whether I buy or not). From a condition perspective, they've told me that "it looks brand new" so we'll see how their perspective is on that.

Okay, checked out the watch this morning. Here are some pictures. They are asking $2K Canadian, but I’m thinking I can do slightly better as an all cash deal. Look forward to some feedback.

It looks good. The bezel has the usual scratches for a doxa that has been worn (you can essentially breath on the bezel and it will scratch). It looks to be in good shape and I would negotiate a bit. That is about us 1495 which I would buy in a second if you don’t:)
