Finally got myself a GMT Carib!!!

Wow.... you blokes were right. This is one AWESOME watch

Thanks to DocRandy for looking after me and helping me source what has been No.1 on my DOXA "hit list" for a while now.

Have to say that I'm even more impressed than I thought I would be. Not being much of a bracelet wearer at the best of times I am VERY impressed with the added thickness and weight of the GMT bracelet when compared to the standard 750T bracelet.

I really like the bracelet and it compliments the watch beautifully.

The blue dial is my favourite colour and with the added orange of the minute hand and the GMT dial it looks fantastic.

Here's a few (tell me stop when you get bored) pics of my new toy

i know "orange" is the doxa color . but i seem to identify the gmt carib blue and orange with doxa. sunny, colorful, and unique.

    congrats on a great watch!

A few more pics of the boys.....

This might have been done before but this kind of shows the difference in the thickness between the GMT bracelet and the standard bracelet.... it makes a big difference when you're wearing it.

Standby for some pics of the GMT on DOXA rubber.... I'm about to swap it over and see how it looks

Re: Finally got myself a GMT Carib!!!

    Cheers guys!

Hey Bob - this is the GMT on your rubber strap

I don't think I'll be putting it back on the bracelet for a while to be honest.... as much as I like the GMT bracelet this rubber strap just looks too damn good IMO. And it is such a perfect and professional fit that it looks awesome.

I'm a huge fan of rubber straps and this is one of the best I've seen.... not like some of the cheesy ones that manufacturers slap their name on and say "that'll do".... it's super thick but also pliable and really comfortable.

I'm not sure why it is that some rubber straps "wear" better than others but this one seems to hold the head of the watch directly on the top of your wrist.... not like some that seem to make the watch head slide off and sit on the outer side of your wrist (hate that).

If you're into a rubber strap on your dive watch this one is killer

So as you can tell...... I'm pretty happy with this one!
