It came this afternoon while I was immersed in a leaf-raking and bagging marathon.
This evening after a hot shower, warm Sho Chikku Bai, a handful of tylenol, and a belly full of sushi, I cracked the can open.
"Whoa!! I thought this was supposed to be Titanium. This sucker is heavy!" Later, when I hefted it alongside of my 750T Searambler, I could feel the difference, but this watch will definitely make the "I can't wear titanium; it's just too light (wimpy) for my taste" guys eat their words.
My second reaction was, "Wow, it really doesn't look like titanium."
My third thought? The dial always looks better real-time than it does in the CAD drawings that have made us buy so many Doxas on semi-speculation. The website renditions rarely do the real watch credit.
Now, I'm looking around my study, thinking, "What do I flip for the 800Ti Pro?" This watch is definitely a "WOW!!"
Oh, by the way, scroll down:
I assume some of you guys actually want pictures. Try not to be too hard on me, I didn't even take the plastic off the bracelet, quick and dusty. I also paired it with my only 750T case to compare the size and case color. Then, I paired it with only Sharkhunter dial as some people have been wondering how it would come out lume vs: tubes.
The orange backdrop is Doxa Orange as I used a Doxa T-shirt.
Lume shot added. Done in total darkness lying on the 9:00 side.
