    GMT Pro or DS Quandry

Today I'm going to purchase a DOXA. Thanks for all the replies in my previous thread re: DS or Aware.

I've decided after much teeth gnashing to just throw caution to the wind and order a GMT.

Now, I'm very torn between the Pro and DS. The more I look at the Pro, the more I like it. And I do like the idea of my first DOXA to be orange. OTOH the DS yellow is gorgeous and perhaps more rare. It might also be a more versatile piece being a primary color. Arrrgghhh...

This is really driving me nuts! However, a purchase will be made today. If you're inclined, I'd once again like your feedback. Otherwise I'll just man up and make a gut decision... Thanks!

OK, here's my take. They're both great, so you could flip a coin and you'll win either way. That said, I'm a big DS fan, especially the GMT-flavored DS. I do think it's a bit more versatile than the Pro as you've said. The yellow, black, and white work together incredibly well on that piece.
    Some watches...

    PRO

Not to take away from the DS , I have seen it and it is beautiful, but I love the Pro.
Good luck with your decision, it won't be the last.

I was asked what the time was that was on my watch ?
Does anybody really know what time it is ?
    Does anybody really care ?
If so I can't imagine why..........
I do, I do, I do care about time.

As you can see on my signature, I have two Pros and two Divingstars. While I love them all, I have to say the Divingstars have a slight edge. The yellow dial makes the 1000T DS appear a bit larger than the 1000T Pro. I'm just happy I don't have to choose between one or the other. I think the Divingstars are one of the nicest yellow divers on the market. I also think Doxa Orange rules.

I like the Divingstar as my favorite of the GMT watch colors and the Pro as my favorite of the non-GMT watch colors. Perhaps it is the black/yellow combo on the Divingstar GMT, but for what it is worth I was all about the GMT Caribbean from pics on the forum and then when I finally got one, the Divingstar won out. I also think the Orange/Black on the GMT Pro is a little too Halloween looking for me (strange I know, but that is what comes to mind when I see it).
