    A good day for Orange!

It is a nice sunny, but cold day here in Georgia. My orange Doxa 1200T smiled at me as I reached for a watch this morning! Hope there are lots of other orange Doxas on wrists today. Cheers, Bill P.

Thanks, supawabb! I really enjoy my Doxa. My watch collection was drab until the Doxa joined! Cheers, Bill P.

    Bill,

Great picture of my favorite Doxa -- other than the Diving With Legends LE. Other than being orange, how does the Doxa compare to your other watches?

Re: A good day for Orange!

John, your question is interesting, but there is not a simple answer. First of all, I think a Doxa Professional is a unique watch. The color, case size/style and bracelet make it different from other watches.

My fist love in watches is Omega. I bought my first Omega in the late 60's and have enjoyed them since. My favorite Omega is the Planet Ocean. In addition to Omega, I like Sinn watches. My favorite Sinn is the classic U1 series. Lately I have added 2 Oris watches to my collection, a blue dial/bezel Aquis and a BC3 Advanced. Oris is a great value in a quality watch, IMHO. My best and most expensive watch is a Rolex Exp II, 40mm white dial model. For fun casual watches with tritium tubes I have 2 H3 Tactical watches. They are great night watches. Of course any collection has to have a selection of Casio G-Shock watches…. mine are atomic/solar models.

So you see, I have eclectic taste in watches and enjoy each one in a different way. The Doxa fits into the collection nicely and is a fun one to wear in the rotation.

What about you, other than Doxa, what watches are in your collection? Cheers, Bill P.

    Bill,

I don't own a Doxa yet -- but hoping to add a 1200T soon. Diving With Legends would be great but pretty hard to find.

I have a couple of older Rolex Subs, an IWC Mark XVI, Stowa Flieger, Smiths 29-B, Aquadive BS-100 Bronze, Olivier Diver, Nomos 38 Date, Dagaz Tsunami Classic, and Hamilton Khaki Field.

Thanks Bill. I may let a few watches go to make room for a 1200T but can't imagine parting with the 16600 Sea Dweller, 16610 Sub, IWC Mark XVI, or Stowa Flieger.
