Got something orange in the mail today

My first vintage DOXA Sub 300T!

I've been wanting a vintage-proportioned DOXA Pro for a while and was thinking about buying a used 1200T. But when I recently saw a 300T go up for sale by a well-known DOXA collector, the chance to buy a vintage DOXA and own a bit of dive watch history proved too alluring. It arrived today in exactly the condition stated by the seller - the watch has been overhauled by Jack at IWW and looks great. I love it!!

A quick and dirty pic. I figured an orange Pelican case was an appropriate back drop...

To say I'm thrilled is an understatement!

Thanks! The orange is pretty intoxicating. Enjoy your 1200T. Post some pics when you get a chance.

A perfect example of a vintage Sub. Restored beautifully. I saw this for sale, congratulations and enjoy.

Really nice watch. Is that Bracelet original? It looks very tapered. Also, could you give us the details on what was done for the restoration?

Can't post without a Pic, so here's my DS on an original Doxa Bund:

Thanks guys, I appreciate all of the positive comments.

@Conky, I believe the bracelet is original. It's the same one shown in this image comparing original (bottom) and reissue 300T bracelets on Dr. Peter McClean Millar's site, complete with Synchron logo on the clasp:

In terms of the restoration, my understanding is that the movement was overhauled, case lightly polished, a new crystal fitted and a vintage relume was performed. It looks great for its age.
