How do you store your watches?

How does everyone store their watches? I grew up on Clive Cussler novels and now have a watch problem.

Looking for "best of" solutions for 6 or 12 watches.

On shelves, on tables, on desks, on the bathroom sink, on the kitchen counter - basically any flat surface in my home (except the floor, and inside the fridge) has a watch on it. I remember now that I even have a watch locked in the glove box of my car. I have a watch hoarder problem.

Dear Loco - without having visited me, you have accurately described my house...
For extra-special watches, of course, there is the sock drawer!
    Cheers!
