How to Wind a Vintage Doxa?

    Hi Everyone

I have recently acquired a vintage doxa with the synchron case back and non – screw in crown….does anyone know how to wind the watch, is it the same as the new Doxa’s ie self winding, but to charge, wind the watch +- 40 times

    Thanks for your help

    Regards,

    Zak

I have a vintage SUB 300T SH. I wind the watch a few times to get it started (never bothered to count), set the time, and strap the bugger on. I don't shake it like I do with my Seikos.
I don't have grandkids yet....so let me tell you about my watch!
