    Hi there,
i rather collect russian watches, but few days ago i just bought NOS Doxa.
Could you tell me somenthing about it? I think that she was made in '50, but i'm not sure.
Do you think that it was a good shot? It cost 90$. Take a look:

Hi, and welcome to the Doxa Forum! Doxa made a ton of dress watches in the '40s through the '70s, for both men and women. Very little info is available on them, but there are still quite a few around. Yours looks really nice and very clean, it was obviously well cared for. As for the value? As the saying goes, it's worth what someone will pay for it! But $90.00 seems like a good deal to me for that one, it's quite classy and elegant looking. You may want to take it to a jeweller and see if there is any precious metal content there (like gold or silver). If so that would increase its value.

    Nice score!

    Krzysiek,

I think this is very nice, and I would gladly pay $90 or more if it works well. I've been eyeing DOXA dress watches since I bought my GMT Caribbean in June. I really want one, but just haven't won the right bid yet! I hope you enjoy it!

This one i had bought from collector, who bought circa 40 new watches in '50-'60 years, and put it in box. From this time he never wear any of them

Congratulations on finding one so new! That would never happen to me! I think that's a beautiful watch, exactly what I'd like to have in a vintage dress DOXA.

    Hi Krzysiek,
I think your Doxa should be from ´50s. Mine is from early ´50s, purchased in 1952. The design of hour hands and numbers on dial looks similar. Only one difference, this one was worn almost daily over 57 years. The accuracy of this mechanical Doxa after 57 years is great, it is late only 4,7sec / day
