    Just bought a Grail Watch

Well, I did it. the wife will go probably have a fit, but it just means I'll have to sell of the stuff I don't wear. Wanted one of these for donkeys years.

Bought it 2nd hand and is the old style case with the lug holes (same as my Sea-Dweller). This photo isn't the actual watch but in fact it was taken by John Holbrook and did a lot to sell me on the watch.

    Pics when it arrives.

Anyone want to buy a kidney

    Pete

Beautiful, you now have two of my grails, the gold/SS sub and a SeaDweller... Then there is the un-obtanium DeepSea...

I have liked that watch forever! Congratulations!

Very nice Pete. It is not my style, (I am not much for two-tone) but a classic watch nonetheless. Please make sure and post a few pics when it arrives.:thanks

Congrats, and may it serve you for many years to come
    Best Regards,
    Jason

Thanks guys. Oh don't worry Simon, I'll be selling mine. I've been contimplating it for quite some time but never had the incentive. That incentive is about to walk in the door. Between the wife and I we have around 40 odd watches. Insanity. Most aren't very expensive but we never wear them. I think I've worn my Omega SMP and Breitling Superocean about 5 times each this year. The PRS-50 has been worn twice and never out side the house. That's 3 relatively costly ones that will help pay for the Rolly. The Doxa's, Seikos etc etc will pay the rest.

I've been threatening to sell off most of my watches for years now. Now is maybe the wrong economic environment to do it, but there really is no point in having nice watches sit and gather dust.

Great watch Doc. Bring it to Cayman. I went to buy one like yours but I left the store after I ordered a Deep Sea. I just couldn't resist.
Anywho enjoy it in good health.

Hmmmmmmmm........... I've pretty much exhausted my current Vintage Doxa supplier's (David) available stock and supplier loyalty goes out the window where vintage Doxa's are concerned, can I have a current price list ?
