Off topic A little "non Doxa" love....

Don't get me wrong, I love the brand! In fact I wear my Doxa's probably 3 times as often as anything else in the watch box (except for work of course).

But occasionally, I look in those two boxes and think "I bought these others because I really liked them". And I still do! So, once in awhile, I trott out one of "the others" to get a little much missed wrist time .

Today, I took off my 750T Pro (surprising, since I just put it on yesterday after wearing the Sharkhunter for a week straight), and grabbed up the CWC Royal Navy Diver (a nice watch, but far from my favorite non Doxa). But I took it off the issue British Grey NATO, and slipped it onto the 'Bond.

So, what's in your box besides Doxa? Post a pic if you want, your favorite, or just the one you wore last!

    Regards, T Bone.

    T-Bone,

I'm hearing you on CWC navy divers, here's my favourite, its an issued version that had a very hard life when I got it, she's had a new movement and dial and crystal and she's very near the top of my fave non Doxa's.

I actually just flipped my other one below to help pay for more Doxa's

    Cheers

Typically, I go between my Doxas and one of these. Really they are the only watch that I have found that even come close to the Doxa in the comfort arena. However, when it is time to get the job done.........It is back to the Doxa.

The one on the left is a 50th Anniversary LV Sub with the black bezel insert installed instead of the green, and the one on the right is a 14060M or "Sub no-date"

Well, DOXAs by far get the most wrist time, but I have a few that are regulars in the rotation as well.

My PO shares wrist time pretty regularly with my 3 DOXAs

This 1973 Heuer Calculator was my Dad's, and after he gave it to me in 06, I had it overhauled. I wear this one when I am in court. I've worn it when testifying in some pretty big criminal cases, and it always seems to bring me luck. Plus it has a lot of pushers and doohickies to mess with to pass the time.

Today, I dusted off the 07 that I hadn't worn in a while. I'm thinking about painting the bezel numbers and hashmarks orange. What do you think about that?

This is what I wear when I can not get away with wearing a Doxa. It still has some weight being 18K so I do not feel a lot of difference. Dan

I've been wearing one of these pretty steadily since I got them in June:

Here's the one from my birth year that has become a semi-permanent fixture on my wrist:

Not to say I've cooled to Doxa; I flipped one of the EZM's for an even more exclusive new in tube COSC Divingstar 750T.

(this pic was borrowed from the forum as mine is still in plastic)

Add the 40th Anniv T-Graph, a few vintages and the wife's Rollie, it's a very good watch year for the Bo household.
