    Mockups the next generation

    Hi all,
thought you might like to see these, they are mock ups using my latest piece of software, and they can be drawn very accuratly given all the proper dimentions, these were roughly drawn from my 750 caribbean.

and no mock up would be complete without the tourquise version re-named the SCUBA

    Hi Graeme,

I think Doxa would have a winner if they released the Scuba (maybe renamed the NUMA?) as you have it here. Great job as always.

BTW, it was nice meeting you at Basel this year.

    As always Graeme,........ BRILLIANT stuff.

The Scubas looks great but of course it will never get made until uncle Clive allows Doxa to use the NUMA setup.

Not sure how the turquoise would look underwater but the SCUBA is a winner.
    Nicely done!

Just curious what software are you using? it looks like 3ds Max maybe or Maya?
I have Maya, and thought working on a couple watch designs and doing a full blown render with Metal ray, to get the metal looking good.

It would look fine. Underwater, it's more about contrast than color and there's enough there for good functionality. I agree, the Scuba is a winner.

Thanks for your feed back Guys, it was fun to try something new with this software.

Pete, I think you are right, the "Scuba" is a cool looking watch, and there are not that many serious tourquise divers out there, DOXA could bring out a tourquise dial and call it whatever, but i believe for it to be a real seller it would need to have uncle Clive's consent and called the NUMA

Stryyf, I am using Solidworks, if it's good enough for Patek Philippe it's good enough for me.

Very nice! If I showed the Turq. dialed Scuba to my wife, she'd want one too (her fav. color) and of course I'm a fan of it too!

Nice designs, there. I'd love to see that big, thick bezel on the next Sub. Also would love to see a thick case like the 5000, and made in protected titanium for superior corrosion resistance and a more tool like look.

I know I'm in the minority, but I still crave a NUMA edition SUB in Professional orange with the round multicolored NUMA logo where the USD logo used to be.... talked to Jack once about having a one off made up, but his thoughts were the redialers he used might or might not be able to get the logo right. And I'd be paying either way. In addition, my request to NUMA for a one time custom donation amount for the rights to legally use their logo on just one watch went unanswered.... sigh.
    Regards, T Bone.
