    My first Doxa

    Hi all,

I just wanted to pop in here to introduce myself and post some quick pics of my first Doxa. I've had it for about one month now, and I'm really enjoying it.

For those considering the 1000T (and contrary to some of the posts I've read on this forum), in my opinion the 1000T is a fairly large and substantial watch. As a fan of larger watches (Breitling, Anonimo, Enzo), I chose the 1000T over the 750T because it simply seemed better proportioned than the 750T, and I like that it is more true to the original Doxa Sub. In my opinion, it is just about the perfect size for my 6.8 inch wrist. This is a striking watch and has proven surprisingly versatile. Here are some pics.

Welcome aboard the Doxa train, and congratulations!

I have an equivalent wrist size, and reached a similar conclusion with regards to preferring the size of the 1000T/600T/vintage 300T to that of the 750T. The 5000T looks like a winner, but I'm glad they offer the "original" size option with the 1000T.

Here's a shot of my 1000T Pro just this morning checking out the location of next year's "Searaider 2008" gathering, the Ocean Frontiers at Compass Point Dive Resort on Grand Cayman:

The trouble with Doxas is that I've never seen one I didn't like. Welcome to the Club. You've logged on to the biggest enabler site in the watch world.

In fact, I've got a thing for the Sharkhunter GMT... but I'm way over my watch budget... but come to think of it, that didn't stop me from buying my last three watches. And so it goes, on and on and on.
